The first college that we would like to present is “The London College of Fashion”; it is a constituent college of the University of the Arts London, in London. It offers undergraduate, postgraduate, short courses, study abroad courses and business-training in fashion, make-up, beauty-therapy and lifestyle industries. This course length is 3 years; Psychology of Fashion teaches psychological theories, concepts and methods of enquiry to apply in the context of fashion business, with a focus on how psychological science can improve fashion industry practice. This course remains the only undergraduate course in applied psychology in fashion.
Fashion Marketing teaches students marketing theory in the context of the fashion industry. This course during three/four years (with placement year in industry) Graduates have progressed to post-graduate study or secured employment with fashion businesses in marketing and consumer insight roles
Fashion pattern cutting
Fashion Pattern Cutting prepares students for a successful career in the industry by teaching skills in traditional craft practice and the latest digital technologies. This course lasts three/four years; students learn a range of skills across market levels from bespoke tailoring methods to high street manufacture.
Students are taught broad ranging skills, from traditional craft skills to cutting edge digital technologies.
Students have the opportunity to undertake an industry placement year and gain valuable experience before graduating.

During the three years on the course, you will be introduced to a wide range of Fashion Promotion and Marketing projects, including trend, creative marketing and communication, branding, styling, visual merchandising photography, film and media, visual merchandising, branding, strategic marketing, digital creation and new development in social media.
– fashion design: This course has an exceptional reputation for being aligned with the international fashion industry and enabling you to have outstanding opportunities to engage with the industry throughout your course. The four-year sandwich year option is for applicants who feel they would particularly benefit from an opportunity for more professional development within the fashion industry – spending one ‘sandwich’ year in between their second and final years at Westminster.
